Regan Nantz
1971-2006

Recently our world lost the physical presence of a loving and brilliant thirty-four year old young man, Regan Edson Nantz, son of Ron and Elisabeth and brother of Hayden.   Within hours of learning of Regan's death, Elisabeth was on an eClubSoda call sharing her unimaginable grief and making a profound difference in each of our lives. She was instantly surrounded with the most amazing blanket of love…it was truly palpable…a sacred space we will never forget.

Every day since, without exception, we have heard the heartfelt shares of adults who have called their parents just to say I love you...and parents who have held their children quite a bit closer and just a bit longer...as a direct result of what they have learned from the beautiful emotions that Elisabeth continues to share so vulnerably with us. We have been more reverent and compassionate and considerate and brave...most of all brave.  We have become more vulnerable, sharing old secrets and connecting to each other in a new way. Many of us have acknowledged being called to a higher place in our life...all as a result of being touched by the lives of Regan and Elisabeth and Ron and Hayden.

There are so many of us that deeply love the Nantz family and want to help erase the pain of losing Regan at such a young age, yet we know we cannot. However, with Elisabeth's and Ron's blessing, we are honored and proud to announce The Regan Nantz Memorial eClubSoda Scholarship Fund.  Our hope is that through these scholarships, we will be able to sponsor families who would not otherwise be able to join eClubSoda so that they too may have the opportunity to learn one of the profound messages of Regan's special life… the importance of a genuine and loving connection to ourselves, to our families, to each other, and to Life.  

Most of us were never taught how to accomplish this...in fact many of us were taught to keep ourselves under wraps...to go away until we figured everything out by ourselves...even to hide almost all of our tender emotions.  Each day on eClubSoda we are able to share our lives in hopes of helping others...to learn by practicing and exploring new distinctions side by side...and to find encouragement in each and every step and stumble we might make…together.  We discover how to truly connect with ourselves, with our families and each other…as well as Life itself. As a result of what we are learning, new patterns are emerging and hearts are beginning to heal from old hurts. Future generations, as well as the present one, will benefit directly from your memorial gift for Regan.   Isolating habits will be replaced by genuine connections. The world will become a closer, safer and more encouraging place.
